Has anybody ever lied to you? It is hard to believe people when it seems as if everyone lies from time to time. In many different situations people often ask, "What is the truth?"

God is all truth-He never lies. God sees and knows all things as they really are. The Bible says that "God is not a man, that he should lie . . ." (Numbers 23:19). Because God is holy (without sin), He could not be anything else but true.

Not only God Himself is truth, but His Word, the Bible, is the truth. His Word is totally trustworthy. Psalm ll9:151 says that all the commands of the Lord are true. If you know Jesus as your Savior, you can trust God completely as you obey everything He says in His Word. God's promises are true. He has always kept His promises from the beginning of time. Many years ago God made a promise to a man named Noah never again to destroy the world with a flood (Genesis 9:11-13). When you see a rainbow, you can remember that God is Truth. He kept His promise to Noah, and He will keep His promise to you. You can believe with all your heart in the God of Truth.
